Well, the Ides of March have fallen upon us...a little late, but anyway... Tomorrow is the first day the "Big Kids" will begin their state testing. Our K and 1st teams decided to be testing cheerleaders for them all. We each adopted a few classes and will supply them with treats, surprise notes, letters and posters to encourage them to do their BEST! Here are some of the labels we came up with to attach to our bags of treats (Smarties, mini Snickers, sharpened pencils, Tootsie Rolls, Blow Pops, Twizzlers, Starburst and on the final day...Rocket Popsicles! Good luck, Big Kids!!!

Spring Nonsense Bingo!
I added this Bingo game using nonsense words to be used in literacy centers. I'm going to head over to Dollar Tree tomorrow to pick up something to use as markers-maybe small plastic bird eggs or little chicks, maybe just glass vase fill beads. I tried to use a font similar to the one used for the test but after fighting with Scribd for most of the afternoon, I've gone back to good ole' comic sans. Have fun, ladies!
